I was on Phentermine for about 3 years and loved it. I can\’t say i lost any weight but I found that by taking a half pill a day, it was the best antidepressant ever! Those 3 years were great. When I stopped taking the Phentermine, I became depressed and was prescribed Wellbrtrin 300 mg which I can\’t say I have felt any better. I am still depressed. My revelation came when I took an old pill one day recently to see if it still worked and I felt like a million dollars that day. My depression was instantly gone and I had a wonderful day. Unfortunately, when the pill wore off the depression returned. My question is why the drug is not marketed as an antidepressant? Is euphoria really considered an unwanted side effect? I think not! In fact, I\’m surprised that phentermine is even legal as it does produce almost as good of a euphoric feeling as ilegal substances. Have any of you had a similiar experience with Phentermine?

I just got my prescription today and I\’m going to start taking them in the morning. I hope I will be able to sleep as I already have problems in this area. My weight at the doctor today was 170 and I am 5\’6\". I have gained over 30 pounds the past 3 years. Normally my weight stayed around 135. If I can get back to that weight I will be SO happy. I am getting married June 9th and I would love to lose this weight before the wedding. I will review periodically with my progress. If anyone taking these have any suggestions that will help… I would greatly appreciate any advice. Wish me luck!!!

I just started today. Im 240lbs and my sister lost 60 lbs on adipex from her Dr, so i went to the weight loss clinic and they gave me the 30mg one. Its doing nothing. My sister said it makes you have tons of energy and no appetite. I feel like I\’ve been given a placebo. Absolutely NOTHING here. No energy, no appetite suppressing. Whyyyyy doesn\’t it work for me? I want to reclaim my life. This is my last chance before barbaric surgery

had good weight loss but sadly my hair started thinning and coming out quite a lot. I now know that this is a side effect of the drug. I really need to lose more weight but cant risk losing my hair!

I\’ve been using phentermine off and on for years. I love the increased energy and decreased appetite. However, the side effects of a headache and loss of sleep have led me to lowering my dosage which is not as effective as before at reducing my weight. Also, in my experience, as soon as you stop taking the drug, the increase in your appetite is three times worst than it was before you started the drug and the weight soon piles back on and then some. You also become very lethargic. I can\’t stand the feeling or the weight gain so I wait a 5 months and start it up again. I have yet to find anything that suppresses my appetite and gives me the energy to maintain my 6 days a week bootcamp workout.

They work!!! I lost some weight eatting very little for about 6 weeks..then i tried this pill..and i wont the lie..the first 3 are 4 days where ruff..but they work!! i have eatten more normal since i have been on them..and i still lose weight..and when i watch what i eat..i lose alot of weight..i do go to the doctor everytime i need it refilled..and i really dont know what long term side affects the pill is causing me..i guess only time will tell. but i dont thing it will cause more problems for me then the weight did..its the Best forth dollars a month i ever spent..

I\’ve been taking this drug off and on for 3 months. I lost 18 pounds. I still have another 18 to lose & I\’m. A frade to stop taking it all together. Ive reduced the dosage at times but days I don\’t take it I feel slow & sleepy. I will on occasion feel my heart palpitating but then it subsides. I\’m looking for a safer way to lose my last 18 pounds. I just need help with feeling hungry. I workout 4-5x a week & enjoy it. All my life ive been thin but in my 50s I began to enjoy food, bad food.

I first started phentermine about a yr ago…along with excercise and change in my diet i have lost nearly 70lbs on phentermine! i did take a month or two break from it but i maintained my weight loss while off the pill…i have been off the pill for going on 2 months now and only gained back 6lbs,i will be starting the pill again in april and hope to begin loosing again! Phentermine did give me headaches in the begining and did make me feel a little sick but after about the 2nd week and some slite adjustments from my doctor that all went away. I highly recogmend phentermine to anyone who is in dyer need of a weight loss pill that will actually show you results and keep you motivated! Good luck to all
